Are your eyelashes getting thinner, shorter, and lighter as you grow older?
Now, at the Dermatology Laser Center and MediSpa, you can more than double your eyelash line in 16 short weeks with a new product known as LATISSE™.
LATISSE™ (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% is the first and only FDA prescription treatment for “hypotrichosis,” used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker. Hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.
Dr. Snyder’s Approach
Dr. Snyder’s patients are prescribed LATISSE, which they then apply to themselves as instructed.
LATISSE™ solution is dispensed along with 60- single use applicator q-tips. One drop of the solution is applied to one q-tip and then applied to the skin just above the upper eyelid/lash each night, and then discarded. Similarly, use a second fresh q-tip to apply one drop of solution to the opposite eyelid/lash and discard.
Using LATISSE™ more than once a day will NOT give you faster or better results. You do not need to apply LATISSE™ solution to your lower lids. By applying LATISSE™ solution to your upper eyelid/lash at night, the product is able to be transferred to the lower eyelid/lash while you are sleeping, allowing for enhanced growth of the lower eyelash as well.
Dr. Snyder’s Treatment
Great lashes don’t just happen overnight. It is important to see that LATISSE™ solution works gradually, over time. While you may start seeing longer lashes at about 4 weeks of use, in order to reach maximum length, fullness, and darkness, you need to use LATISSE™ every night for 16 weeks.
- At week 4: You may start to see longer lashes (LATISSE LOGO/PHOTO)
- At week 8: You may start to see fuller and darker lashes
- At week 16: FULL dramatic results
Once you begin, it is important that you do NOT reduce or stop your nightly applications of LATISSE™ and follow the directions for best results. Remember, results are gradual over time. And you must also remember that if you stop using LATISSE™ at any time, your eyelashes will return to their previous appearance over several weeks to months.
